Vallauris ceramic plate by Jean Marais. It depicts two faces in profile facing each other. You can also see a tree with drooping branches in the center. Signed on the back “Jean Marais”.Jean Marais (1913-1998) French actor, writer and director lived in Vallauris where he practiced pottery and sculpture. He also opened a store and a gallery there, today the Espace Marais.
