Gold ring holding an intense blue faceted oval kyanite in 10 claws.

Period: 20th century
Main material: yellow gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats, eagle's head hallmark.
Kyanite weight: approximately 5.60 carats.
Proportions: Height: approximately 13 mm, width: approximately 11.6 mm, thickness: approximately 5.7 mm, width of the ring at the base: approximately 2.1 mm.
Net weight: about 3.8g.
Antique jewel - French work from the 1960s.
Our opinion: Rarely used in jewellery, kyanite, also called kyanite, is nevertheless a gem of an intense bright blue worthy of the most beautiful sapphires of Kashmir. Kyanite is however quite fragile, an ancient jewel to be worn with care.
