120 Cm Grand Cartel Vernis Martin Thuret In Paris Napoléon III Period
Large cartel in Martin varnish by Thuret in Paris. Louis XV style work from the 19th century. Decorated with garlands of flowers on a green background, and a scene from a fable by Jean de La Fontaine: The fox and the stork. Very rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes. Enamelled dial with Roman numeral cartridge in black for the hours and Arabic for the minutes. Movement by Vincenti 1855. Cartel: height 83 cm width 48 cm. Lamp end: height 41 cm width 50 cm depth 26cm
