View of a Port Probably Antwerp by Georges François Souillet Born in 1861 in Tours. Died in 1967. Painter of animated landscapes, landscapes of water, still lifes. He was a pupil of Félix Laurent at the School of Fine Arts in Tours and of Alexandre Cabanel at that of Paris. He appeared at the Salon of French Artists in Paris from 1899 and at the Salon of the Société des Beaux-Arts in Nantes in 1899 and 1906. A work by the painter at the Museums of Fine Arts in Tours.
