"Large Moorish Terracotta"
Very large barefoot Moorish man attributed to Friedrich Goldscheider (1845-1897) in polychrome white terracotta Circa 1890. It is of very beautiful dimensions 93 cm and in perfect condition. Friedrich Goldscheider founded the porcelain factory and Goldscheider majolica factory in Vienna in 1885. Both publisher and manufacturer, he directed and made his business prosper with unusual energy until illness carried him away on January 19, 1897 in Nice.
