Nantes Favre And Petitpierre Canvas Bedspread Chasse à Courre 1820
Cotton bedspread lined with thick quilted and hand-sewn hemp canvas with fox hunting decor.
This canvas of Nantes was printed in the first quarter of the 19th century (around 1820) and monogrammed FP which are the initials of the association of Favre and Petitpierre (see photo).
The images are taken from drawings by Carl Vernet.
This piece is in good condition with some small restorations (last picture), that blend into the background.

Length: 177 cm
Width: 115 cm
to which must be added an eventful flap of 50 cm on 3 sides.
