Pair Of Wall Consoles In Golden Wood Decorated With Cherubs - Late 17th Century - Early 18th Century
Rare pair of gilt wood wall brackets, left and right, resting on cherubs. Circa late 17th, early 18th century. Original gold leaf gilding. Later tray probably from the 19th century, with imitation marble patina. Some customary restorations have been made. Detailed dimensions for each console and cherub: - 1st console: Total height 55 cm - Cherub alone 49 cm high by 42 cm wide - 2nd console: Total height 53 cm - Cherub alone 47 cm high by 42 cm wide.
