Imposing Napoleon III Planter, Sterling Silver 930/1000
Imposing NAPOLEON III planter, 930/1000 solid silver and cut crystal. German work by Maison KOCH & Bergfeld. the frame is made of 930/1000 silver. Which is very rare for this type of production, but probably intended for export to Anglo-Saxon countries where the legal grade of silver is 925/1000. Frame. Is richly engraved with lambrequins and enhanced with medallions with the heads of gorgonians. The original crystal is cut into diamond points, (perfect condition). One of the cartouches is monogrammed CM. Dimensions. Height: 16.5 cm Length: 49 cm Width: 32 cm Silver frame weight: 1416 g Good condition.
