Sculpted ink stone of scholar origin China late 19th century early 20th century. Very beautiful object with its original patina decorated with two dragons in the middle of the clouds. Note the original shape of this rare circular stone on the market. Pierre de Duan, southern China, which served as a receptacle for the inkstick necessary for the scholar to practice calligraphy.
