Engraving enhanced with gouache and painted border representing the Colosseum in Rome, some horsemen and figures in an 18th century landscape. Engraved by Giuseppe Vasi, member of the Accademia di San Luca and the Accademia dell'Arcadia, Italian architect and engraver, famous for his engraved Vedute which will be a great success with travelers on the Grand Tour in the 18th century. Under old glass with many bubbles and in a hollow frame in gilded wood with palm leaves, cornucopias, bruises and a row of stylized oves. Frame restored by a professional workshop. Dimension of the engraving 32 cm x 23 cm (at sight)
