"Louis XV Style Golden Wood Fireplace Mirror"
Very beautiful carved Louis XV style fireplace mirror in carved, stuccoed, molded and gilded wood. Beveled mirror. The pediment is in rocaille shell, the decoration with scrollwork motifs of acanthus leaves, garlands matched with a rose and windings. Note, and rarer, for a fireplace mirror, another shell on the lower belt. This reasonably sized mirror, supported by two foliated legs, makes the whole thing very airy and thus offers the possibility of placing this piece directly on a fireplace or chest of drawers. Very good general condition On the reverse its old spruce batten parquet Napoleon Ill period. Measures 131 × 78 cm
