Exceptional Kum kapu (kapi) carpet, of great rarity designed in wool and silk of the best quality available on the market. From a plum-colored background to decorated with Tchis, i.e. clouds and animals made with silver thread, located in the heart of lotus flowers, scrolls and floral compositions. The main border is of a ravishing ivory with stems of polychrome flowers and leaves, besieged by two counter anthracite borders with flowers. With a rare density of 13,000 to 15,000 knots per dm2. As seen in the photos, this carpet is signed FOUR times, by Hagop Kapukian and Zareh Benjamian: Two initials at the main border, and an Armenian inscription in the blue flower, in the center, on each side of the carpet in symmetry , making a total of 4 SIGNATURES.
