Damien Hirst - Shark Drawing - Monaco 2010
Very rare original drawing in black felt-tip pen autographed by Damien Hirst on March 29, 2010 on the occasion of the opening of the "Cornucopia" exhibition dedicated to him at the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco (exhibition from 04-02 to 09-30-2010) .
The drawing was made on the invitation card addressed personally to Mr. Jean-Sebastien Fiorucci who was then chief of staff to the President of the National Council of Monaco. The dedication was addressed to Madame Michèle Fiorucci.
This drawing is particularly interesting because it was made on the color photo of a shark appearing on the invitation card, which includes the letters HIRST debossed and above all it has a remarkable provenance which guarantees its authenticity.
Indeed, if we sometimes find on the market drawings by Damien Hirst made on a white sheet, unfortunately we find among them a large quantity of fakes quite simple to achieve !!!
For my part, ALL the drawings signed Damien HIRST that we find on the market are FAKES without real provenance we can prove !!
The drawing that we are selling is therefore a real opportunity not to be missed, which combines aesthetics and the assurance of acquiring an original work by Damien Hirst !!
