Nude Photography By Auguste Belloc (1800-1867) Hell Bnf

Very rare stereoscopic photo by Auguste Belloc (1800-1867) from the 1850s representing a naked woman. Very nice copy, the colors are perfect! 17x8.5cm The number 211 written in the center looks exactly like those in the Nazarieff collection. The decor and the workshop are from the workshop of Belloc. Recently found in an attic with two other nude photographs from the 1850s and 1860s. In October 1860, five thousand licentious photos were seized from the home of Auguste Belloc. Six years later, only 195 pictures remain when they are deposited in the Imperial Library. From this seizure only 24 stereoscopic views remain today, preserved in the Hell of the National Library of France.
