Saint Cast is a charming seaside resort, close to St Malo and Dinard Saint-Cast-le-Guildo comes from Saint Cast and the site of the Guildo. By prefectural decree at the end of 1971, the commune of Notre-Dame-du-Guildo merged with that of Saint-Cast, becoming Saint-Cast-le-Guildo.
