Daum and Limoges. Porcelain, "Cactus" decoration Proofs in polychrome enamelled porcelain and gilded with fine gold.
Including:
- 6 presentation plates (D 29 cm),
- 6 plates (D 26 cm),
- 5 plates with striped green background (D 22 cm),
- 6 cactus motif plates (D 21.5 cm),
- 6 cups with saucers. 14.5cm
The “Cactus” collection was donated by the President. As a state gift during an official visit.
Hilton McConnico is the first American designer whose pieces have joined the permanent collection of the National Museum of Decorative Arts.
