Very rare Nude (he painted 5) painted oil on panel measuring 63.7cm x 28cm plus frame 84cm x 49cm signed lower right This painting is historic, it is one of the rare "Nudes" that Monticelli made It is titled by the expert "La grande baigneuse" label on the back indicating the origin of Doctor AUGIER (pseudonym of Raoul GINESTE) who was Monticelli's friend. This man is described in the work of Alauzen on Monticelli page 404 Red stamp on the back of the expert Marc Stammegna This painting is reproduced in the catalog raisonné Volume 1 under number 71 page 64 (see photo). It is accompanied by the certificates of Sauveur and Marc Stammegna as well as a complete file written by Marc on this painting he painting was also reproduced as an illustration of an article devoted to Monticelli, written by Maurice Malingue in the artistic magazine "Journal de l 'Amateur d'Art' dating from January 1982.
