Rare And Spectacular Large Regence Frame
Spectacular Regency period gendarme hat frame in walnut wood. Richly carved with a large shell at its top surrounded by foliage. In each corner are large spandrels decorated with shells and foliage. The frame consists of four large parts as well as the two spandrels at the top. Key frame, combination of elements that offers an almost indivisible construction. This frame originally had a canvas. Regency period (1715/1723).
