"Saint In Polychrome Wood XVIIth Century"
She is a young woman in wood, probably oak from Hungary. She has a beautiful face, long uncovered hair. She is dressed in a long belted dress, red in color and a coat draped over the front. The forearms and the hands are missing of course. The back of the statue is hollowed out: it is surely an element of an altarpiece. Very little damaged by xylophagous insects given its age
