Lacquered Screen 4 Double-sided Leaves In The Chinese Style Circa 1970

Magnificent four-leaf screen in lacquer with polychrome decoration by Morand. One side painted with flowering branches where birds evolve on a golden background with leaves. The other side decorated with gold painted bamboo on a black lacquered background. This screen is very versatile. Indeed each side presents a very different theme. The face with floral decorations can be used for a classic Asian theme. The other side is decorated with gold bamboo, for a trendy 1970s decoration. Feet reinforced and protected by a golden brass strapping. Very high quality work by Maison André Morand from the 1970s. Perfect black lacquer without scratches and in very good condition.
