Elephant engraving from the early 19th century representing Louis XVII as a child, King of France and Navarre, born in Versaille on August 27, 1785. This is an engraving by Noel Bertrand (1785-1852), a renowned engraver of the 18th and 19th century, after Auguste Laby ( 1784-1852) famous 18th century painter who made the original of this engraving in painting. This engraving is presented in a Marie-Louise and an old gilded wooden frame. Good general state of preservation but yellowing of the paper, overall quality and history.
