This important lamp decorated with pineapple is in bronze and gilded brass. The original lampshade is metal with a gunmetal patina, enhanced at the top and bottom with a golden net. The axis of the lamp ends in a stylized acorn The whole rests on a square base in gilded bronze. The lamp is signed at the base: CHARLES MADE IN FRANCE In 1920 Emile Albert Charles takes over the company created by his father Ernest.
