Henri Deluermoz is a genre, animal, landscape painter, draftsman, engraver and illustrator. Pupil of Gustave Moreau and Alfred Roll. He participated in the Salon of the National Society of Fine Arts. He exhibited personally in Paris in 1913, 1919 and 1927. Animal painter, he painted and engraved animals, horses but also figures of riders. His large, powerful drawing captures the missing phases of his wild models at the right moment. The stylization of his craftsmanship is combined with a keen sense of realistic observation.
