Painter Michel Carlin born in Chambery in 1935, lives and works in the Var since 2001. He participated in the first two plastic arts festivals in Antibes with Arp, Dubuffet, Olivier Debré. This is the period when he befriends the painter Jean Villeri. His return to figuration will be in 1978 with mummified cotps. In 1953 he met Fernand Léger who corrected his drawings. In 1954 he met André Villers and Picasso. In 1965 he exhibited alongside Picasso, Braque, Leger, Giacometti in Vallauris.
