Louis XVI period bookcase in rosewood marquetry in amaranth frames. Library from the Louis XVI period, opening on the front with two mesh doors in the upper part and inlaid decorated with butterfly wings in amaranth frames and charming fillets. Canted uprights. The two leaves are closed by a three-point lock having retained its original key. Inside this 18th century piece of furniture is a secret hatch in the lower part of the base, as well as a false front imitating a drawer. This bookcase with perfect proportions is in its original state. Original bronzes. Oak fund. Adjustable shelves on racks and cleats. Restorations for use and maintenance.
