From 1910 he became exclusively an Orientalist painter. He often travels to North Africa.
The drawing presented here is a view of an oriental interior, a public or private place which undoubtedly served as a preparatory study for a painting.
We notice in the center a basin where the building is reflected as well as seated figures.
The drawing is monogrammed and bears the stamp of the artist's studio.
