"Large Biedermeier Extendable Table, Cherry Wood, Southwest Germany Circa 1820"
Very large and rare extendable or extendable Biedermeier dining table. In veneered cherry wood (tops and marquetry frame) and solid (round top and legs). Extendable up to a length of 4.40 m. 8 feet in total, resting on original brass end caps with wheels. Old pull mechanism in solid oak, completely repaired. Deburred edge. Total of 6 newly made inlay panels with antique cherry veneer. Restored and polished by hand with shellac.Dimensions: H 79.5 cm, frame H 65.5 cm, W 137 cm + 6 x 50 cm (= max. 437 cm), D 142 cm.
