Rare et ancien cadre photo ( ou peinture portrait miniature ) de style Empire (ca 1850), à la manière de l'orfèvre House of Carl Fabergé.
L'encadrement de forme carrée est réalisé en laiton doré ormolu ciselé de grande précision et qualité. Il est surmonté d'un aigle impérial regardant à droite, tenant foudre et laurier, rappelant l'emblème de Napoléon Bonaparte. Cornes d'abondance, guirlandes, palmettes... Le fond du porte photo est émaillé guilloché vert émeraude, centré d'un compartiment photo rond cerclé au cordon, permettant le placement d'une peinture ou photo de 10cm de diamètre.
En parfait état de conservation.
