Portrait of the favorite dog, a West Highland White Terrier (Westie) was executed by listed Austrian animalistic painter Anton Wessely (1848 -Vienna - 1908). Pupil of the Viennese Art Academy under Karl Mayer, he worked in Vienna and was the member of Viennese art union "Kuenstlerhaus".
