Le médaillon, un fragment orné de pierres précieuses, est constitué d'un cadre circulaire en fil de fer entourant une plaque d'or asymétrique sertie d'un cabochon d'améthyste monté sur griffes, taillé en pointe.

Provenance : Collection privée anglaise, constituée entre la fin des années 1970 et le début des années 1990.
