Il s\u2019est sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans les d\u00e9corations murales et a cr\u00e9\u00e9 des tapisseries et des panneaux d\u00e9coratifs d\u2019un style l\u00e9ger, fin et fouill\u00e9\u2026<\/strong>\u00a0 Sa production, tr\u00e8s vari\u00e9e, touche \u00e0 toutes les disciplines\u2009: textiles (broderies, v\u00eatements d\u2019\u00c9glise), tapis de la Savonnerie, carrosses, clavecins et programmes d\u00e9coratifs d\u2019importance.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e9 \u00e0 Lyon, Claude III Audran a v\u00e9cu chez son oncle, Claude II Audran, peintre et collaborateur de\u00a0Le Brun,\u00a0Jouvenet\u00a0et\u00a0Coypel. Peintre ordinaire du roi en 1699, il obtient la charge de concierge, conservateur du palais du Luxembourg en 1704. En 1709, il ex\u00e9cute un d\u00e9cor de singeries pour le roi\u00a0Louis XIV\u00a0au ch\u00e2teau de Marly<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>. Au ch\u00e2teau de R\u00e9veillon<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>, dans la vall\u00e9e du Grand-Morin<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>, il peignit en 1731, en collaboration avec Jean-Baptiste Oudry, les Fables de la Fontaine pour Jules-Robert de Cotte, fils de l\u2019architecte, qui acheta le ch\u00e2teau en 1730. Par ailleurs, le collectionneur su\u00e9dois\u00a0Cronstedt\u00a0acheta, \u00e0 la mort d\u2019Audran, son fond d\u2019atelier, soit plus de 2\u00a0000 dessins.
