Par l&rsquo;interm\u00e9diaire de compagnies de commerce, l&rsquo;Europe importe des produits tropicaux comme le sucre, le caf\u00e9 et le cacao qui connaissent un grand succ\u00e8s succ\u00e8s \u00e0 la cour.<\/strong> Reconnu pour ses vertus fortifiantes, aphrodisiaques ou \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques, sa consommation augmente au cours des si\u00e8cles avant de se d\u00e9mocratiser pendant la r\u00e9volution industrielle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">C\u2019est Louis XV, qui est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme le plus grand amateur de cette boisson \u00e0 base de cacao. La plupart d\u2019entre elles, v\u00e9ritables objets d\u2019art, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es en argent, vermeil ou cuivre..
