Dix ans plus tard, en mai 1994, la Fondation Cartier s\u2019installe \u00e0 Paris, dans l\u2019architecture de verre et d\u2019acier cr\u00e9\u00e9e pour elle par Jean Nouvel. Comme le souligne Herv\u00e9 Chand\u00e8s, Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Fondation Cartier pour l\u2019art contemporain, \u00ab si elle est d\u2019abord une r\u00e9union d\u2019\u0153uvres, la collection de la Fondation Cartier est aussi une collection d\u2019expositions et de relations avec les artistes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">C\u2019est ce qui constitue son identit\u00e9 : rassembler les \u0153uvres, les auteurs des \u0153uvres, les relations entre la Fondation et les artistes, entre les \u0153uvres et le lieu.
