Libre de toute finalit\u00e9\u0301 pratique et subissant comme seule contrainte celle qu\u2019impose le travail des m\u00e9taux et des pierres, l\u2019objet pr\u00e9cieux se pr\u00eate admirablement \u00e0 toutes sortes d\u2019exp\u00e9rimentations, autorisant les combinaisons les plus vari\u00e9es et les fantaisies les plus \u00e9vocatrices. Ceux-ci, ductiles, color\u00e9s, chatoyants, donnent forme \u00e0 des silhouettes f\u00e9minines, \u00e0 des rinceaux et \u00e0 des fleurs, \u00e0 des insectes ou encore \u00e0 des arabesques envoutantes.
