"Germanic Hunting Dagger Late 19th Century"
It is a strong hunting dagger, typically Germanic, dating from the end of the 19th century.
BLADE: strong powerful blade, very solid.
The outer face, after a ricasso of 1.5 cm, has a hollow side of 22 cm. Counter edge on the 4 cm near the tip.
The inside face is flat.
Length of the blade 31 cm, width near the guard 3 cm, thickness near the guard 0.6 cm
GUARD: It is a steel guard, with double curvature
CAP: it is a steel cap, slightly domed, which caps the handle antler. It ends with a spherical button pierced with a hole.
GRIP : it is in deer antler of good quality, in perfect condition.
SCABBARD: it is made of thick sewn leather, with scabbard entry and steel snap.
This hunting dagger gives off an impression of robustness. It asks only to resume service in the hands of a huntsman.
It will fit easily into a hunting rendezvous decor.
