Imposing zoomorphic dignitary armchair, BAOULE ethnic group from the Ivory Coast, mid-20th century. Armchair executed in one piece of tree trunk, without assembly. Round base, surmounted by a sculpted panther. Round seat with decoration and backrest in one piece with back engravings in the round of bumps of two heads and a male character, see the details in the photos. Borders carved with friezes.
