Pair of XIX Napoleon III sculptures representing the god Mercury or Hermes, messenger of the gods, and Venus or Aphrodite as a pendant. Works of very fine quality patinas and carvings and in very good original condition with their royal red marble plinths. It is rare to find these 19th century pieces in such good condition as a pair featuring the original works of this great 16th century Italian sculptor. height 83cm
