Lovely oval-shaped miniature representing a young girl bust. Her face is gentle and her gaze pensive; she flashes a shy smile. She is dressed in a blue dress adorned with a large bow and wears a choker necklace from which a double braid plunging into her deep neckline starts. She is wearing a bun embellished with one in keeping with her blue dress. This miniature surrounded by gilded brass comes in a pretty rectangular frame, also in gilded brass and chiseled with a decorative frieze. Between the miniature and the frame there is a crimson velvet which perfectly highlights the portrait. With frame: 6.8x5.5cm Miniature only: 3.9 ×3.2cm
