"16th Century Forged-bent Key, Rare Technique"

From a 10mm bar, split lengthwise at the top, he made the heart-shaped ring at the tip of the anvil. See the visible dimple on knuckle. For bit, partially split over 3.5cm, he created 2 open flats on either side, then tightened them and welded them with a hammer around a round iron, thus forming a hollow rod at the end and a large flat bit on end, sluices open.
