Important Furniture Monument Of XIXth Cynegetic Trophies

Golzinne black marble chiseled gilt bronze.
This rare and spectacular set dedicated to Artemis and the hunt consists of three parts, on the one hand a large central base and on the other two columns. The base is carried by six large bear paws, on the thickness of the boxes in the marble frame low reliefs in bronze describing dogs followed by a brocade.
On the base and in the center, a Sarrancolin column and a molded elevation bear the bust of Artemis. On the left, two dogs are at their bowl and on the right a partridge, a pheasant and a deer are hanging from a tree. The columns have a base with the same design (boxes and bear paws) here the bas relief represents partridges and lapwings.
The column with a square base and Ionic fluted rests on four boar's feet; the square part carries game and the top of the shaft three fox heads in the principle of rostral columns. On the marquee a buzzard is placed. The overall quality is excellent, further revealed by the spectacularity and uniqueness of this set.

Condition:
Very good original condition, rare and almost invisible chips at the corners of the marble. Beautiful gilding.
