"Small Louis XV Salon Table Attributed To Delaitre"
Salon table from the Louis XV period, its top inlaid with a kingwood medallion framed with kingwood netting in the opposite direction and molded with a kingwood spout in upright wood. Its inlaid kingwood belt is curved and scalloped and opens with a drawer on the side revealing a writing set in silvered bronze. This table rests on 4 curved kingwood legs connected by a crotch shelf inlaid with kingwood with a pattern similar to the top. Fall and hoof trim in gilded bronze. Work attributed to Louis Delaitre, received master on November 19, 1738
