Bronze Frame Or Easel Type Photo Frame With Floral Vase, Chimeras, Scrolls, Volutes Etc. XIXth Century

Beautiful frame or photo frame in molten bronze richly oiuvragé, the pediment with motifs of vase loaded with fruit and flowers and floral garlands in fall flanked by heads of chimeras. The perimeter of the virgin space is decorated with foliage, capitals and scrolls.

It rests on two feet with attachments forming large volutes connected by an entablature decorated with foliage.
The framing of the sight surface is underlined by a doucine molding with flowered spandrels; the back face is equipped with a support which allows to place the frame in position of easel (Note that a drilling with the top leaves the leisure to suspend it if one wishes it). A glass is present but it is not old.
