Huge two-headed slit gong drum collected from Ambrym Island in the achipelago of Vanuatu. The breadfruit slit drums of the island of Ambrym are still used today to communicate within the villages and to give rhythm to the traditional dances on the dance square called "Nasara". These majestic shapes, typical of the island of Ambrym, make these drum totems become one of the strong symbols of this region of the South Pacific. Evocation of the curved teeth of pigs (symbol of prosperity) under these stylized faces. Totem sculpture that can be displayed both outdoors and indoors (see photos for examples). Consult us for indoor exposure for the base. Delivery costs: France 200€ / EU 500€ / USA 1000€.
