Object description :

"Liturgical Vestments And Altar Accessories"
Liturgical set late 18th century - early 19th century in green silk embroidered with white composed of a chasuble, a stole, a maniple and a corporal's purse. The whole remains sewn by hand, it seems to me that the fabric is a damask of green silk (I am not a specialist, excuse me) lined with a moire of pink silk. Friezes and symbols of crosses finely embroidered in white silk represented by interlacing flowers. Scattered wear on the edges, as well as on the embroidery in several places, hole and darning on the front of the chasuble, some stains also indicated on the photos of the details: this garment has been used of course but it remains very acceptable as a whole . Note: the color green has several symbols in the liturgy such as Pentecost, Spring, the hope of renewal, etc. The gilded wooden processional cross visible in a photo is for sale separately. Delivery: €10 for metropolitan France.
