Small picture painted on cardboard, landscape representing washerwomen by the river, bridge and village, with the ruins of the castle of Hérisson in the background. This painting bears the signature at the bottom left of Mr. Lévis for Maurice Lévis (1860 - 1940) and also bears on the back a dedication to Madame Marcelle Walter "With my good wishes December 31, 1921" This painting is presented in a frame in wood and stucco gilded with leaf decorated with acanthus leaves and wrapped laurel rushes, with a small interior frame of scrolls on a black background decorated with white and red pastilles.
