"Shizan - Bowl"
A Japanese Satsuma tea bowl with rich decoration in gold and polychrome enamels, inside with a daily life scene with numerous characters on a feast day outside a temple, with waves with floral and naturalistic motifs.
Outside with characteristic scenes of Japanese life of the Meiji period from the study to the game to the tea ceremony enclosed in a full reserve that runs all around without interruptions, and with rich decorations with gold bands with geometric motifs.
Under the base an original label without the signature but attributable to Shizan.
