"Selfish Jug, Compagnie Des Indes, Eighteenth Century."
In porcelain from the Compagnie des Indes, this lovely little jug presents on the belly, under the spout, a bouquet of roses in shades of purple on a white background. On either side, various flowers are painted inside cartridges, surrounded by gold threads. The grip of the lid as well as the handle are enhanced with gold. Period mid-eighteenth century. Good condition, height 13.5 cm.
