Object description :

"Low Sideboard With Doors, Louis XVI Period"
Low sideboard in solid mahogany wood opening with 2 doors opening onto a shelf.

It rests on 4 tapered legs ending in bronze rings.

The fluted rear uprights echo the fluted front uprights too, but underlined with a very fine moulding.

The elegance of this piece of furniture lies in the sobriety and purity of the lines. The cabinetmaker was able to highlight the refinement of this sideboard by the use of quality wood used in solid wood, which allows once the doors of the cabinet are open, to have an identical quality of execution inside as outside. The fine moldings of the doors executed on both sides are found on the side panels as well as on the crosspieces and uprights which frame the two doors.

The whole is topped with a Grand Antique marble.

Parisian work from the Louis XVI period.

Length: 128.5 cm.
Height: 88.5 cm.
Depth: 60cm.

Delivery possible worldwide.
