White enamel porcelain sculpture, representing a group of cherubs, signed on the terrace Auguste Moreau *, XIXth century. This sculpture is in good condition, signed, see photos. A note: a piece glued, a cooking defect, wear of time, see photos. *Auguste Moreau (1831-1917) third son of sculptor and painter Jean-Baptiste Moreau, he was introduced to sculpture with his brother Mathurin. In 1861, he made his debut at the Salon, where he exhibited regularly and extensively until 1913. His subjects related him to other members of the Moreau dynasty. Many bronzes are among his shipments to the Salon, as well as marbles and plasters. Many subjects, then very fashionable, by Auguste Moreau were edited in bronze.
