Object description :

"Henri De Saint-delis (marconne 1878-honfleur 1949) Watercolor With Teapot And Fruit"
If he was one of the best painters of the estuary, he is also appreciated for his still lifes of which he gives us a fine example here with this watercolor on pencil lines which magnificently interprets this set with a teapot. This is a composition full of freshness by this great Norman painter (although born in Pas-de-Calais). A rich palette of colors in the chromatic range of blues, grays, ochres, a perfectly mastered touch. It is presented under a two-tone double mat, in a molded gilt wood stick of very good quality which highlights it perfectly. Dimensions: 22.5 cm x 30 cm at sight + frame Very good condition. Our painter is listed in BENEZIT, Dictionary of painters, sculptors, designers and engravers. I won't present the artist whose biography you can consult on many sites including Wikipedia. Many other objects to discover in my stand of the Salons in which I participate. Follow my gallery to be informed of new products and to know the dates of the next Salons... Any questions?
